Walks in The Valley of the Invincibles

The last refuge of the 1685 resistance by the Old Waldensians took place in the so-called 'Valley of the Invincibles' a side valley off Val Pellice, the scenery of which is awe-inspiring. Its history heightens its already spectacular dramatic appeal.

This website is devoted to this single valley and offers some excellent information (and photos) about a restaurant in the valley and various guided walking tours.

From its heights walkers can see the peak Monviso, the Stone King of Piedmont.
