Can We Live Without Anxiety?

Bad news of many kinds bombards us day by day via the media. It is enough to create chronic worries, instilling in some people crippling anxiety. The possibility of ourselves or our loved ones experiencing homelessness or joblessness without means of subsistence, or developing a serious illness, leads many people to an excess of caution and can lead to uncontrollable, irrational states of mind - to unfounded fears that can affect our entire mental health. These are the anxious worries that Jesus Christ denounces and came to heal, readjusting our outlook on life and death, allowing us to respond constructively to any eventuality. He speaks to us of this in Matthew 6:25-34, the text that will examine in depth today.
