True, We found the Messiah!

‘Evolution of thought’ has led our generation to move radically away from the biblical concept of what a human being is, from God and from the path that leads to salvation. In addition to devaluing the authority of the Bible, this has made it increasingly difficult to explain the Gospel message to modern minds. In this situation, complacent and compromised churches claim to become more ‘relevant’ to people, by adapting and altering the Gospel message to suit a ‘modern’ sensibility’ but, in fact, they are overturning and neutralising it.

The biblical Gospel, however, must be translated, not betrayed, proclaimed and explained in the terms in which the authors of the Gospels announced it to their world, which was not less incompatible with its message, than ours is. At the heart of that message is Jesus, the Christ, "the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world," the everlasting Gospel, which remains effective in breaking down the wall that separates us from God, calling us to repentance and to faith in Him. This is the core message that John 1:29-42 seeks to convey to us today.
